內容係講位醫生親自幫太太接生, 卻發現女兒有先天性殘障, 容易夭折. 醫生不想太太以後難過, 以為善意騙太太說女兒已經夭折. 誰知帶走女兒既護士不忍心張嬰兒放在可怕的孤兒院, 寧願自己擔驚受怕地養大病弱的女兒.
以後女兒不僅沒有夭折, 仲開心健康地成長. 反之醫生和太太就因欺瞞而無法好好溝通, 婚姻破裂. 書中最感人的一句, 護士對醫生說: 當你躲過了很多傷心的時刻, 你亦錯過了許多快樂的時光.
如果我有這樣的女兒, 我有膽量把她養大嗎

ReplyDelete[版主回覆01/19/2008 04:12:00]the story doesn't worth the cost buying the book. I was attracted to buy the book because of its storyline, but not as good as I can expect. I read it when I travelled, so I can read very fast.
